PROGRES.ID – Al Ittihad is gearing up to shake the confidence of English Premier League club, Liverpool, with an enticing offer of £215 million in the 2023 summer transfer window.
According to reports from the Daily Mail, Liverpool has received an enticing offer of approximately £215 million or around £4.1 trillion from Al Ittihad.
Delegates from Saudi Arabia arrived in London, England, on Saturday local time with their ultimate goal being to persuade Liverpool to let go of Mohamed Salah.
The Sun reported that the Saudi Arabian club is very eager to bring back the 31-year-old winger, and they have even increased their offer from £150 million to £215 million, including additional bonuses.
The report also reveals that Mohamed Salah has been offered a weekly salary of £2.45 million, which also includes additional incentives. In addition, Salah is also given a percentage of jersey sales, winning bonuses amounting to £55,000, and a role as an ambassador for three major Saudi Arabian companies.
Each company is willing to pay Salah £6 million, making the player eligible for an additional £18 million from his ambassadorial role.
On the other hand, Liverpool’s coach, Jurgen Klopp, has affirmed that he doesn’t doubt Salah’s commitment to the club. Klopp stated, “I’ve never doubted his commitment. He (Mohamed Salah) is our player and wants to play here.”
