On Tuesday (10/17/2023), a rocket attack, believed to have originated from the Israeli side, hit a hospital in Gaza, although Israel denied responsibility and claimed that the rocket was fired by the Palestinian side.

Through a video uploaded to his Instagram account, Mohamed Salah expressed his sorrow about the situation. He stated, “It’s not easy to speak in times like these. There’s been a lot of violence and far too much sorrow and brutality. The escalation in the past few weeks has become unbearable to witness. All lives are precious and must be protected. These massacres must be stopped; many families have been torn apart.”

Following the visit of U.S. President Joe Biden to Tel Aviv on Wednesday (10/18/2023), Israel agreed to permit humanitarian aid to enter Gaza through Egypt.

Mohamed Salah welcomed this step, stating, “What is clear now is that humanitarian aid to Gaza must be allowed as soon as possible. Many people are in very dire conditions. The situation in the hospitals last night was horrifying. The people in Gaza need food, water, and medicines urgently.”

Furthermore, Salah called on world leaders to come together in an effort to stop the killing of innocent lives, emphasizing the importance of humanity in such a situation.
