The Indonesian U-23 national team secured a spot in the final of the AFF U-23 Cup 2023 after defeating the host, Thailand, with a score of 3-1 in the semifinal held at the Rayong Stadium on Thursday (24/8/2023).
The Indonesian national team showcased a brilliant performance in this match. Coach Shin Tae Yong made several tactical changes to secure the victory.
Frengky Missa, who usually plays as a left wingback, was positioned as a midfielder, while Haykal Alhafiz filled the left-wing position.

The U-23 national team took the lead in the ninth minute through a right-footed shot by Jeam Kelly Sroyer from outside the penalty box.
