Team Mooney VR46, Marco Bezzecchi Triumphs in Thrilling MotoGP India 2023 Opener

PROGRES.ID– Marco Bezzecchi clinched a magnificent victory in the inaugural MotoGP race of 2023 in India. The star rider from Team Mooney VR46 displayed dominance throughout the race, securing the front position until the finish line. The race took place at the Buddh Circuit on Sunday, September 24, 2023. ‘Bez’ successfully outpaced his toughest competitor, Jorge Martin from Prima Pramac team, with a time difference of +8.649 seconds. The third-place finish was claimed by Fabio Quartararo from Monster Energy Team, France, with a gap of +8.855 seconds.

Brad Binder, representing Red Bull Racing Team, finished in the fourth position with a gap of +12.643 seconds from the winner. Meanwhile, Spanish rider Joan Mir, riding the Honda RC213V for the Repsol Team, had to settle for fifth place, with a slower time compared to the race winner.

Sixth place in this race was secured by Johann Zarco from Prima Pramac Team, with a time difference of +14.673 seconds. Franco Morbidelli, an Italian rider who was 28 years old at the time and competed for the Monster Energy Team, finished in seventh place, with a time difference of +16.946 seconds.

Maverick Vinales, the Spanish rider representing Aprilia Racing Team, had to settle for eighth place but managed to earn 8 points. Marc Marquez from Repsol Team finished ninth with a time difference of +19.118 seconds. The top ten positions were rounded off by another Spanish rider, Raul Fernandez, from CryptoDATA RNF Team, with a time gap of +26.504 seconds.
