Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi is an Indonesian volleyball athlete born on September 20, 1999, in Jember, East Java. Standing at 185cm tall, Megawati has achieved remarkable success in the world of volleyball.

Despite her career as a volleyball athlete, Megawati values the importance of education. She pursued a degree in Management and successfully graduated in 2020.

Career Journey and Achievements

Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi has had a love for volleyball since the age of 14. With strong determination, she managed to join the Surabaya Bank Jatim team in the Livoli Divisi Utama in 2015.

Over time, she rose to the Proliga level with the Jakarta Pertamina Fastron team from 2015 to 2022.

In 2021, Megawati began competing internationally by joining the Thailand Supreme Chonburi-E Tech club. The following year, she moved to the Vietnam Hà Phú Thanh Hóa club. Lately, she has been a topic of conversation for her involvement with the Daejeon ChengKwanJang Red Sparks club in the South Korean Volleyball League.

Megawati has achieved several accolades, including the title of Best Opposite in the ASEAN Grand Prix 2022, MVP in the Livoli Divisi Utama 2022, a Bronze Medal in the SEA Games 2023, and the most recent MVP award in the South Korean Volleyball League.
