PROGRES.ID– The names of potential vice presidential candidates (bacawapres) for the 2024 Presidential Election have narrowed down to three individuals: Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Mahfud MD, and Muhaimin Iskandar, affectionately known as Cak Imin.

Gibran was recently announced as the prospective vice presidential candidate for Prabowo Subianto in the Indonesian Advancement Coalition (KIM).

This announcement was made directly by Prabowo on the evening of Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Meanwhile, Mahfud MD will accompany Ganjar Pranowo in the presidential election. This pair is supported by PDIP, PPP, Perindo, and Hanura and has already submitted their candidacy papers to the General Election Commission (KPU).

Cak Imin will be partnering with Anies Baswedan, and both have also submitted their registration documents to the KPU.

The Prabowo-Gibran pair plans to register on October 25, 2023.

All potential candidates have reported their wealth through the State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN), including their ownership of motor vehicles.

Interestingly, the vice presidential candidates have different preferences and collections of vehicles.

Gibran, Prabowo’s vice presidential candidate, has the largest collection of vehicles, totaling seven vehicles, including three motorcycles and four cars.

Gibran owns a 2015 Honda Scoopy motorcycle worth Rp7 million, a 1974 Honda CB-125 with an estimated value of Rp5 million, and a 2017 Royal Enfield valued at Rp40 million.

His four cars include a 2012 Toyota Avanza worth Rp60 million, a 2016 Toyota Avanza worth Rp90 million, a 2012 Isuzu Panther priced at Rp70 million, and a Daihatsu Gran Max worth Rp60 million.

On the other hand, Mahfud MD, the vice presidential candidate for Ganjar, ranks second in terms of the number of vehicles collected.

However, the total value of his collection is the highest, reaching Rp1.5 billion, comprising four cars and two motorcycles.

Mahfud owns a 2018 Toyota Alphard worth Rp900 million, a 2017 Toyota Camry estimated at Rp300 million, a 2013 Toyota Vios valued at Rp135 million, and a 2012 Toyota Avanza Veloz worth Rp120 million.

Additionally, Mahfud has two Honda motorcycles worth Rp3 million and a Vespa Primavera with an estimated value of Rp45 million.

Cak Imin, the vice presidential candidate for Anies, has the smallest collection of vehicles with the lowest total value.

According to LHKPN data, Cak Imin only possesses two vehicles, one car and one motorcycle.

The registered car is a 2009 Toyota Alphard worth Rp250 million, and one Piaggio motorcycle from 2007 with an estimated value of Rp9 million.
