“We will not be careless about dynamic global changes,” said Sri Mulyani.

The government and the House of Representatives (DPR) have agreed on the posture of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) for the 2022 fiscal year. The

government still hopes that the contribution of state revenues next year will still receive full support from the business world. From a global perspective, the government hopes to continue to receive blessings from commodity prices.

However, Sri Mulyani emphasized that the blessing of rising commodity prices on state revenues does not necessarily have any risk.

“This has a positive impact but will have consequences for the posture of the 2021 and 2022 APBN. This is what we must be aware of,” he explained.

The Evergrande crisis in China and the latest developments from the United States (US) such as the risk of increasing Uncle Sam’s debt and tapering are also things that the government will continue to watch out for.

“These are all factors that we must be aware of. The possibility of monetary tapering in the US. So while we see, we will maintain our domestic economic recovery,” said Sri Mulyani.
