Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) to Host the Hottest 12 Matches of the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup

PROGRES.ID- Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) has been designated as the stadium with the most number of matches in the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup. A total of 12 matches will be held during the group stage at JIS throughout the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup. The schedule for these matches was announced following the official draw conducted by FIFA in Zurich, Switzerland, on Friday, September 15, 2023.

The first match of the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup will feature a clash between Panama and Morocco at GBT Stadium on November 10. Meanwhile, the second match will see Indonesia facing Ecuador. The tournament will reach its climax with the final match to be held at Manahan Stadium on December 2.

Knockout Stage

The Round of 16 of the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be held at four rotating venues. The quarter-finals will take place at two stadiums, namely JIS and Manahan Stadium.

The Round of 16 is scheduled to take place from November 20 to 22, 2023, followed by the quarter-finals on November 24 and 25.

As for the semi-finals, they will be held on November 28, and the third-place match and final will be contested on December 1 and 2.

These matches will showcase exciting performances from the world’s best youth teams, and Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) will play a significant role in their journey towards the title of the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
