PROGRES.ID– On Friday evening, FIFA announced the results of the draw for the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Zurich, Switzerland, placing the Indonesian national team in Group A alongside Panama, Ecuador, and Morocco. Despite being the host, Indonesia will not be playing at the Jakarta International Stadium but rather in Surabaya.

The opening match of the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup between Panama and Morocco will take place at GBT Stadium on November 10, while the Indonesian national team will face Ecuador in their first match.

November 10, 2023

  • Panama vs. Morocco, 16:00 WIB

November 13, 2023

  • Morocco vs. Ecuador, 16:00 WIB
  • Indonesia U-17 National Team vs. Panama, 19:00 WIB

November 16, 2023

  • Morocco vs. Indonesia U-17 National Team, 19:00 WIB

The Round of 16 of the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be held at four rotating venues, while the quarter-finals will be held at two stadiums, namely Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) and Manahan Stadium. The semi-final matches and the final will take place at Manahan Stadium in Solo.

The Round of 16 is scheduled to take place from November 20 to 22, 2023, followed by the quarter-finals on November 24 and 25. Meanwhile, the semi-finals will be held on November 28, and the matches for third place and the final will be contested on December 1 and 2, 2023.
